If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I take wine seriously—just not myself. Over the past decade, I’ve been swirling, sipping, and occasionally spilling my way through Copenhagen’s wine scene, leaving my mark on places like noma, La Banchina, and the Puglisi Group. Somewhere along the way, I also spent time writing for Vivino, helping people decipher the difference between “elegantly structured” and “tastes like a barnyard brawl.”
Originally from Vancouver, Canada, I somehow traded mountain air for Copenhagen’s relentless wind and haven’t looked back since. Denmark is home now, and when I’m not knee-deep in a particularly feral pét-nat, I’m raising two kids alongside my lovely wife—who somehow tolerates both my wine obsession and my questionable life choices in glassware.
My love for wine isn’t just about tasting notes and tannins—it’s about storytelling. I believe every bottle has a personality, a bit of attitude, and maybe even a scandalous past. That’s why my write-ups don’t just describe a wine; they seduce, provoke, and occasionally offend the easily flustered.
With over 200 wines on hand, there’s something here for everyone—whether you like them clean and classic, wild and untamed, or somewhere in between. No gatekeeping, no pretense—just damn good wine and a lot of fun along the way.
So whether you’re here to discover your next favourite bottle or just enjoy the chaos of my tasting notes, welcome. Let’s drink to the absurdity of it all.
